Cast Highlights

Stephen Stout, veteran of the professional stage as both actor and director, recently retired as Director of Theatre Programs at Greens Farms Academy, CT. Former Artistic Director of Passage Theatre, NJ, founding Artistic Director of Fairfield Theatre Company, CT. He appeared on Broadway in productions including Wendy Wasserstein’s The Heidi Chronicles and The Sisters Rosensweig; off-Broadway in shows including Lucky Stiff at Playwrights Horizons, All My Sons at Roundabout and Cloud 9 at the Lucille Lortel, and in regional theaters including Milwaukee Rep, McCarter Theater and Arizona Theater Company. Film and TV credits include Center Stage and multiple appearances on Law and Order. Stephen appeared as Clarence the aspiring angel and Uncle Billy in It’s a Wonderful Life last holiday season at The Robert H. Jackson Center.

Lauren Shilansky is so excited to be making her Jamestown debut! Originally from West Hartford, CT, Lauren is a senior musical theatre major at SUNY at Fredonia! She spent her summer performing with the American Gothic Performing Arts Company in Iowa, and Shakespeare in the Valley in New Hampshire. In the spring, she will be playing Judy Denmark in SUNY Fredonia’s Mainstage production of “Ruthless: The Musical.” Lauren is also a sketch comedy writer– so any and all SNL cast members in the audience, please contact her after the show! In lieu of flowers, Lauren requests extra Christmas gifts. Looking at you, Santa! She would like to thank the entire production team and cast for all of their work! Jude Chiarella

Hailing from Queens, NY, Jude Chiarella is a junior music education major at SUNY Fredonia. Recent credits include Season 56 and 57 at the College Light Opera Company in Falmouth, MA. As well as the world premiere of “221B” by Dr. Glen Cortese as Young John Watson. Jude would like to thank his friends and family for their support, as well as his boss Ronny! 

Mike Thornton –

Mike was a full-time lead performer with the Capitol Steps in theaters around the U.S. for 24 years. As a NYC actor, his Off-Broadway acting credits include Edward Albee’s Zoo Story, John Guare’s A Day For Surprises, Chelsea Repertory’s Madwoman of Chaillot, and the American Premier of Blood Brothers. Washington, DC credits include appearances at the Kennedy Center (Shear Madness – 2 years) and Signature Theatre (Passion).Mike Thornton has been the Artistic Director for three professional theatres. Mike has presented and produced the nationally-renown political satire group Capitol Steps Off-Broadway in NYC at the Supper Club, annually at Harvard University’s Sanders Theatre, as well as in many other theatres across the country. Directing experience includes musical and dramatic productions in professional theaters along the Eastern Seaboard & DC.Most recently, Mike produced, and directed a radio show re-enactment of the classic story: “It’s a Wonderful Life“ at the Robert H. Jackson Center in Jamestown this past holiday season.

Titus Miller has been involved with local theater around the Jamestown and surrounding local areas for a number of years now. He starting developing a strong passion for acting during his days at Cassadaga Valley high school, but grew much stronger at JCC. Where he was involved in Newsies, which had a very large cast of many different ages and levels of experience. Since then some of the productions you may have seen him in are West Side Story(JCC); Jersey Boys(LBLTJ); Sweeney Todd(Struther’s Library Theater); Rock of Ages(LBLTJ). He has also been involved in the Chautauqua play readers group over the years, where he met Stephen and Mike. He has not yet been a part of a Christmas Carol production, and is grateful to Mike and Stephen for giving him an opportunity to work with all the amazing cast and crew for this show.
